Wow, am I glad I found this site. I mean, I've always known about Townhall.com, but I didn't know you could make a blog on here! As of late, I've been posting my thoughts on MySpace...you can imagine I don't get much feedback or response through there! (All that people care about on MySpace is Chris Crocker and new page layouts.) So hopefully, I can meet some like-minded conservatives on here and share my thoughts and read other blogs about people with beliefs similar to mine.
To start off, I'm 24 years old. This past year has been a big one for me. Last October, my boyfriend of almost two years proposed. We were married in June, and I couldn't be happier! In May, I graduated from UCF (University of Central Florida) with a B.S. in Legal Studies. After our wedding, we packed up our stuff and moved from Orlando to Chicago (Lincoln Park). I LOVE it here! Well, except for all the liberals. But that makes it even more refreshing to meet someone like-minded when I do. Great example: I'm currently reading "Getting America Right." May I say--LOVE that book. Anyway, we're subletting our apartment here to move into a cheaper place in the suburbs and hopefully save some money to buy a house. So a couple people were looking at it the other day, and the book was on the couch. And one of the girls said--"Great book!" At first, I thought she was being sarcastic. But she really did like it! Surprising, but again, refreshing.
So anyway. I guess that's about it. Hopefully I can keep up with yet another blog...only time will tell!
